Brian McCormack

M.Div, D.Div., Resident in Counseling

Brian McCormack is currently a resident in counseling with Chesapeake Counseling Associates. He recently completed his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is working toward his license in professional counseling. Brian is also a retired Air Force chaplain and brings a wide range of experiences to CCA.  These include over 23 years of service as a military and hospital chaplain, five years as a civilian minister, and six years as a medic.  In addition, Brian has completed a Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Harding School of Theology, and a B.S. in Education from Southern Illinois University.  He enjoys working with individuals and couples and endeavors to create a safe place where clients can explore issues, heal wounds, and grow.
